Voice AI + Chatbot Case Study — Our Own Repair Shop
We automated the phone triage in our own repair shop — because we needed it too.
The Problem
This one is our own shop, not a client. JY Computer Services is a time-constrained repair bench — every “how much to fix X” call was interrupting hands-on work, and calls that came in nights or weekends were simply missed. There was no way to catch a lead outside business hours without someone physically picking up the phone.
What We Built
We built voice AI to handle inbound calls, plus a website chatbot backed by a repair and estimate knowledge base. The chatbot qualifies leads by capturing name, phone, and email, and every conversation streams live to our phone via Telegram — so we can jump in directly on any conversation that needs a human touch.
The Result
An estimated 5–10 hours a week of phone triage reclaimed — time that used to interrupt hands-on repair work now goes back into the shop. Calls and chats that used to go unanswered after hours or on weekends now get captured and qualified automatically, and the live handoff means higher-value conversations still get a real person, not just a bot.
Why It Matters
We did not just build this for a client — we run it ourselves, every day. If a lead qualification system can hold up in a shop where every missed call is a missed job, it can hold up anywhere.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a client project, or JY Computer Services' own system?
It's our own repair shop, not a client. We built voice AI and a chatbot to solve the same phone-triage problem our own bench was actually living with.
What happens to calls and chats after hours?
Voice AI answers inbound calls, and a website chatbot backed by a repair-and-estimate knowledge base qualifies leads by capturing name, phone, and email — 24/7. Calls and chats that used to go unanswered nights and weekends now get captured automatically.
Does a real person ever get involved, or is it fully automated?
Every conversation streams live to the team via Telegram, so someone can jump into any conversation that needs a human touch.
