This policy explains how JY Computer Services ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, contact us, book an appointment, buy from our online store, or interact with our AI Concierge.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, device details, and the description of your issue when you submit a contact, appointment, data-recovery, or business-inquiry form.
Booking information. When you schedule through our Setmore booking page, Setmore collects the details you enter to create the appointment. Their handling is governed by Setmore's own privacy policy.
Store purchases. Our online store (store.jycomputerservices.com) runs on WordPress/WooCommerce and collects the billing, shipping, and payment details needed to process an order. Payment card data is handled by the payment processor, not stored by us.
AI Concierge conversations. If you use our website chat or call a number served by our AI Concierge, the content of that conversation, your contact details, and related metadata are processed to answer your request and are relayed to our team (including through a messaging service such as Telegram) so a person can follow up.
Analytics. We use privacy-friendly website analytics that measure aggregate traffic without cookies or cross-site tracking.
Device data on repair. When you leave a device with us for service, we access only what is necessary to diagnose and complete the repair. We do not browse personal files, and we do not copy your data unless you ask us to (for example, a backup or transfer).

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry, provide a quote, and schedule and perform services.
To process and fulfill store orders and provide support.
To operate the AI Concierge and hand conversations to our team.
To keep records of work performed and communications, and to send service-related follow-ups.
To maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.

Service providers that help us operate — for example website hosting, form-to-email delivery, the Setmore booking platform, the WooCommerce store and its payment processor, messaging services used by the AI Concierge, and analytics — each acting on our behalf.
Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
A successor in the event of a business transfer.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and service records for as long as needed to provide the service, support any warranty, and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them. Devices and media left with us are held under our service terms; unclaimed property is handled per New Jersey law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law.
You can opt out of non-essential follow-up messages at any time.
